Furman Capital Advisors, an investment sales division of NAI Earle Furman, affords Junior Investment Sales Associates the opportunity to work with experienced brokers in all aspects of investment sales within the commercial real estate industry. During that time, a Junior Investment Sales Associate will learn how to increase their knowledge and build experience by practicing the following responsibilities and duties under the guidance of their mentor or mentors:

Job Objective
Learn and support all phases of the investment sales process, including lead generation, preparing detailed financial analysis and valuations, assisting with the team proposals for new business opportunities, and working with marketing for materials on new assignments.

Sales Job Description
Lead generation through communication, market research and analysis
Ability to contact prospective clients and discuss current opportunities for acquisitions and dispositions
Assist with maintaining and researching information for specific databases
Report sales generation activity to lead broker in a precise and timely manner
Able to understand transactional real estate for all asset classes
Work in support of investment sales professionals
Establish strong working relationships with the team and clients to understand and identify market intelligence needs

Analytical Job Description
Analyze and produce financial models in Excel and provide in-depth property analysis utilizing financial statements and other industry reports
Evaluate real estate trends including market occupancy, leasing, and sales activity as well as market drivers that affect an underlying property's value
Coordinate the inflow and analysis of information being provided for each appointment
Maintain timelines and integrity of information being utilized in assignments
Write compelling property marketing materials and presentations
Participate in pitching and executing brokerage assignments
Track market development and noteworthy industry news
Provide market intelligence for marketing materials
Coordinate with clients during pre-marketing, marketing, and due diligence processes

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree preferably in Finance, Real Estate, Business Management, Accounting, or related field of study required
An active NC Real Estate license or the ability to obtain one with in 6 months
Proficient skills at using Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Highly motivated, self-starter that appreciates the competitive nature of the industry
Very organized work practices and ability to balance multiple projects
Capability to prioritize and maintain deadlines
Willingness to work hard in business development for a transaction-oriented environment
Excellent Interpersonal skills that include the ability to work as a part of a team and to influence clients
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
Strong analytical, math and advanced research skills
Able to comprehend, analyze and interpret various types of real estate documents, including leases, contracts, and financial statements
Ability to generate ideas and to think on a macro and micro level
