Job Description

The primary function of E&O Manager, Channel Sales position is to manage the excess and obsolete product base to increase sales through national distribution channels, agency relationships, E-commerce markets and new alternative channels. This position will be responsible for directly interfacing with internal and external stakeholders to executing sales plans. It is required to identify and coordinate training needs, drive product promotions, provide problem resolution in order to optimize Current's revenue plan. -This early career sales opportunity is an excellent role to learn our industry, products, systems, and our great group of team members. -

Responsible for achieving excess and obsolete inventory goals and executing sales plans via alternative channels. Execute plans incorporating distributor counter and inside personnel, agency and Lighting sales teams; and track progress to meet inventory goals in all coordinated activities.

Educate internal and external stakeholders on existing excess and obsolete inventory and future trends, including sales regional and national sales force.

Create marketing and advanced notification tools to drive demand to existing and new alternate channels to meet excess and obsolete inventory reduction initiative.

Develop clear goals and roadmap to achieve results within our existing national channel partners and create alternate channels for new methods to market.

Utilize current paths and create new business partners within our existing E-Commerce team on excess and obsolete inventory.

Determine the path to implement an alternative channel by collaborating with pricing, fulfillment teams, and other internal stakeholders to create new processes for the alternative channel order management strategy.

Maintain clear, constant communication with regional and local team along with our agents and current channel partners.

Special projects as assigned by supervisor or dictated by organizational focus.
