Job Description:

This is an Independent Contractor position with a potential path to a permanent position as a Regional Field Sales Representative. The Field Sales Representative is a critical member of our Sales team. As Field Sales Rep, you will identify, source and close good-fitting prospects for our network and telecom services. Using strong consultative selling skills, you will balance contacting warm leads and driving self-sourced leads for your pipeline, while also partnering closely with internal stakeholders to achieve team goals and work towards Simple Com's mission. You will be assigned to a broad geographic area with the ability to serve multiple clients. You will be trained on the technology and services we offer but be expected to service your customers with your own style and expertise. As an independent contractor, you have the freedom to grow your pipeline and business with unlimited commission potential. In this role, you'll get to:Position the value of Simple Com and our partners network and telephony solutions to small and medium-sized businesses, as well as local and state government agencies.Educate and guide prospects to help them learn how Simple Com can help their business function better day to day.Manage a pipeline of warm and self-sourced leads to identify, engage, and develop relationships with potential buyers.Dissect and qualify prospects' business goals to determine if what we offer is a good fit for their business.Close business with new and existing customers at or above territory-based quota level.Partner with marketing and technology departments to execute sales strategy as the company introduces enhancements to existing solutions and/or releases new products.Bring your thinking, strategies, and ideas to advance our company's values, unique culture, and vision for the future. You'll need to have:Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.Experience in customer service, marketing or sales.Eligibility to pass Motor Vehicle Record check.The ability to travel by car for anywhere from 5 minutes to 5 hours or more.The ability to lift and carry boxes weighing up to 40 pounds. Even better if you have:2+ years of B2B sales experience with a proven track record of overachieving on your quotasExperience leading a team.Demonstrated capability to drive positive results in a team environment.Exceptional people skills for negotiating, conflict resolution and the demonstrated ability to build trust and act as an influencer at all levels.The ability to manage a busy sales desk of 30+ dials a day.A strong sense of ownership coupled with great adaptability.An ability to consistently find ways to meet and surpass your goals.You're adept at adjusting "on the fly" in order to meet customer requirements.Excellent verbal and written communication skills & presentation skills.
