Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse – North
Carolina Start Date: October 20, 2025 Location: Asheville, North
Carolina Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Every other weekend required; flexible scheduling to meet
departmental needs; no block scheduling available Highlights:
101-bed Emergency Department at a Level II Trauma Center and
Comprehensive Stroke Center High-volume facility with 100,000
visits annually; recognized among America's Top 1% of hospitals and
awarded Magnet Designation Patient ratios typically 4:1 for medical
patients; up to 7:1 for ED behavioral holds Supportive environment
with techs, unit clerks, and cardiac monitoring teams; Cerner EMR
system with Baxter pumps and GE monitors Internal floating within
ED sections only (no floating outside the department) Serve a
diverse, multicultural community representing over 120 languages
Requirements: Current North Carolina RN license Minimum 2 years of
nursing experience with at least 1 year in an Emergency Department
setting Level II Trauma Center and high-volume ED experience
strongly preferred Certifications required prior to start date:
ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS ENPC certification required
within 90 days of hire Flexibility to work in all areas of the
