Join the dedicated team at HCA Healthcare as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in our Spine and Trauma department on a per diem basis. This role requires a compassionate professional who is prepared to manage the complexity of patient care specific to spinal and trauma conditions. At HCA Healthcare, you will work in a dynamic environment that is centered on providing exceptional medical care and improving patient outcomes. Nurses in this role will handle patient care in coordination with healthcare teams, ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards, and advocate for patient needs. Provide direct nursing care according to the prescribed patient treatment plans Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition and treatment effectiveness Administer medications and treatments in a safe and timely manner Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to enhance patient care Educate patients and families about health conditions and post-discharge care Maintain a safe and clean working environment by following all healthcare protocols and regulations Document patient care services and update electronic health records accurately Strong clinical skills in a trauma or surgical setting Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to operate medical equipment Highly organized and detail-focused Adept at priority setting and emergency response Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of practice Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred
