ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Augusta, Georgia. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ED - Emergency Department - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/23/2026 - Duration: 14 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - ER Job Details: • Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required (first-time travelers not accepted) • Travel experience required • Work in a very large and busy non-trauma emergency department with high acuity patients • Care for patient population ranging from neonates to geriatrics • Maintain 1:4 patient ratio in 59-bed ER averaging 165-175 patients per day • Work every other weekend unless specified elsewhere • Holiday requirement: work major holidays that fall during assignment period • Maximum 7 days requested time off allowed • RTO blackout dates during Spring Break (April 4th-12th) • Rare floating within facility/scope of practice as needed • 24 hours of orientation required • Must wear navy blue scrubs • Epic charting system experience required (hard stop - no exceptions) • Pyxis medication dispensing system experience • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH, PALS • Preferred certifications: SANE, TNCC • Must be able to manage complex conditions including stroke, STEMI, traumatic injuries, and psychiatric emergencies • Skills include arterial line management, ICP monitoring, splinting, procedural sedation, and ventilator care • Full compliance required to start on time or assignment pushed back 2 weeks • Must submit core items and complete labs within 48 hours of signing contract Facility: This major healthcare system operates a comprehensive emergency department that is both stroke and STEMI certified.
