Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Occupational Therapist needed for a contractual maternity leave assignment within a dynamic school district in Greenville, SC. This opportunity is ideal for a dedicated OT professional with a passion for supporting students' developmental and educational needs in a school setting. Assignment Details: - Location: Primarily Pelham Road Elementary, with additional responsibilities at East North Street Academy and Greenville Academy in Greenville, SC - Dates: Approximately April 9th, 2026 through May 22nd, 2026 - Schedule: Full-time (37.5 hours per week) preferred; part-time candidates will also be considered - Caseload: Approximately 70 students, mostly at Pelham Road Elementary; includes a few middle school students at Greenville Academy and supervision responsibilities at East North Street Academy one day per week (support available for supervision if preferred) Key Qualifications: - Active South Carolina Occupational Therapist license - Prior experience working as an OT in a school environment preferred - Ability to manage a varied caseload across multiple schools with effective time management and organizational skills - Comfortable collaborating with other school staff and supervising a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Primary Responsibilities: - Provide direct occupational therapy services to students to enhance their educational performance and participation - Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to develop and implement individualized therapy plans - Monitor and support COTA activities during designated supervision days - Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school policies and professional standards Benefits: - Opportunity to make a meaningful impact on student development and educational success - Experience working within a supportive and collaborative school environment - Flexible scheduling with consideration for full-time or part-time availability This role offers a rewarding opportunity to contribute to student well-being during a critical staffing period.
